The Freego Nova 5 / Nova 5 Pro is a high-performance mid-drive electric dirt bike built for private property, off-road trails, gravel, sand, and other demanding outdoor terrain.

Built around a 72V 40Ah battery system, forged aluminum alloy frame, full hydraulic suspension, and motorcycle-grade wheels and tires, the Nova 5 platform combines high-output mid-drive power with a strong, stable chassis designed for demanding riding conditions.

The standard Nova 5 delivers 4000W nominal / 8000W peak power and reaches speeds of up to 53 MPH. The higher-output Nova 5 Pro delivers 8000W nominal / 15000W peak power and reaches speeds of up to 62 MPH under suitable riding conditions.

High-Output Mid-Drive System

Unlike a conventional hub-motor layout, the Nova 5 uses a mid-drive motor system. The centralized drivetrain layout helps deliver strong torque through the chassis while keeping the power system positioned near the center of the bike.

The Nova 5 delivers up to 8000W peak power, while the Nova 5 Pro increases peak output to 15000W. Both versions are rated for up to 380 N·m of maximum torque.

72V 40Ah High-Capacity Battery

Both Nova 5 models use a 72V 40Ah (2880Wh) lithium battery. The Nova 5 uses LG 50LT 3C cells, while the Nova 5 Pro uses higher-discharge Samsung 50S 8C cells.

The estimated riding range is 40–70 miles (64–112 km). Actual range varies depending on riding speed, rider weight, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, riding style, acceleration, battery condition, and other operating conditions.

Forged Aluminum Alloy Frame

The Nova 5 is built around a forged aluminum alloy frame. The aluminum construction combines structural strength with a lighter chassis material than conventional steel designs while supporting the high-output mid-drive powertrain and full-suspension system.

Front & Rear Hydraulic Full Suspension

The Nova 5 is equipped with a full hydraulic suspension system designed to absorb impacts from uneven ground, dirt, gravel, and other rough surfaces. A long-travel hydraulic front suspension assembly works together with the rear hydraulic shock to support controlled handling over demanding terrain.

4-Piston Hydraulic Braking System

The Nova 5 features four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with upgraded 220 mm / 200 mm brake rotors. The hydraulic system provides controlled braking response for high-output riding and demanding off-road conditions.

Motorcycle-Grade Off-Road Tires

The Nova 5 uses a staggered motorcycle-style wheel setup with a larger 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. Inflatable motorcycle-grade tires provide traction and shock absorption across dirt, gravel, pavement, and other mixed riding surfaces.

LCD Display & Rider Controls

An integrated LCD display provides real-time riding information including speed, distance, and battery status. The ergonomic handlebar layout places the full-twist throttle, braking controls, and essential rider controls within easy reach.

Integrated LED Lighting

The Nova 5 includes an integrated LED lighting system with a bright front headlight and rear tail light. The system helps improve visibility during low-light riding and makes the bike easier for others to see.

The Freego Nova 5 / Nova 5 Pro is water-resistant and can handle light rain and wet-road conditions. The bike is not fully waterproof. Avoid riding in heavy rain, deep standing water, or conditions that may submerge the battery, motor, display, controller, or other electrical components.
